Privacy Policy.
Plain English. What we collect, how we use it, how long we keep it, and your rights — written for the people who actually have to read it.
1. Who we are
This privacy policy applies to Raghav Polymers Group and its associated entities — Raghav Polymers, Bhavya Polyfilms, Jay Extrutech, Miranda Overseas, and Polstar (collectively, "we", "us", "our"). Our registered office is at 8-3-993, Plot No 7, Doyen Galaxy, Srinagar Colony Main Road, Hyderabad – 500037, Telangana, India.
If you have any privacy concern, the simplest route is to email info@raghavpolymers.com — mention "Privacy" in the subject line.
2. What we collect
We only collect information you knowingly give us, plus standard website analytics. Specifically:
- Contact form data — your name, company, email, phone, the product you're interested in, and the message you write. You provide this voluntarily.
- WhatsApp / phone / email enquiries — whatever you choose to share when you reach out.
- Website analytics — via Google Analytics 4 (GA4). This logs pseudonymous data like pages visited, time on site, broad device/browser type, country, and a randomly-assigned client identifier. Your IP address is masked by Google before it reaches us.
We do not collect sensitive personal data (financial details, identity numbers, health information), nor do we run behavioural ad tracking.
3. How we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and follow up with pricing, technical specs, or a quote.
- To improve the website (which pages people read, which links work, where users get stuck).
- To keep a record of business communications, as required by Indian tax and contract law.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties for marketing. We do not add you to bulk email lists without your explicit opt-in.
4. Who handles the data
Your contact form submissions are stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only to our internal team, and a copy is emailed to info@raghavpolymers.com and info@bhavyapolyfilms.com. Google Workspace is our data processor for email and Sheets. Google Analytics processes anonymised analytics on our behalf.
No other third parties have access.
5. How long we keep it
- Contact form submissions — retained as long as the business relationship is active, plus 7 years afterward to meet Indian record-keeping obligations.
- Analytics data — aggregated, anonymous, retained by Google for up to 14 months.
- Email correspondence — retained in line with our standard business email retention policy.
6. Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies set by Google Analytics for the analytics described above. We do not use marketing, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser settings or use a privacy extension at any time without breaking the site.
7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (India), and as a matter of policy regardless of jurisdiction, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that's wrong.
- Ask us to delete your information (subject to legal record-keeping obligations).
- Withdraw consent for any future processing.
To exercise any of these, email info@raghavpolymers.com from the address you originally contacted us with. We respond within 30 days.
8. Security
We use Google Workspace's standard security controls — encrypted-at-rest storage, two-factor authentication on staff accounts, and access logging. Our website is served over HTTPS with modern TLS. We don't store payment information.
9. Children
This is a B2B website. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If a parent or guardian believes their child has submitted information through our form, please contact us and we'll remove it.
10. International transfers
Some of our processors (Google) operate globally. Where data is transferred outside India, it remains subject to the safeguards Google maintains under its standard contractual terms and applicable laws.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our operations or applicable law change. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any change. Material changes will be flagged on this page for a reasonable period.
